The Berkey Built PL-SSR is the jack of all single shot racks. This rack was designed with versatility, simplicity, and ease of use in mind. Truly a rack that takes the hassle out of setting up Articles Pyrotechnic single shot comets, mines, and even shells.
Versatility - The PL-SSR can be used with virtually any size and any brand of 1.4g Articles Pyrotechnic single shots. From tinny 20mm up to 62mm, we got you covered. No longer will you need a separate rack for your comets and your preloaded shells.
Capacity - Each rack can hold up to (45) 30mm single shots total, or up to (20) 62mm shells. Naturally you can mix and match various sizes used with this rack. This is an amazing value compared to other products on the market.
Adjustability - The PL-SSR has preset angles allowing you to angle each row left or right in 15 degree increments (-45, -30, -15, 0, +15, +30, +45). This lets you use all of the most commonly used angles while removing human error. Angle your shots all straight up, all to the left, all to the right, or some combination of them all. You have the flexibility to choose.
light weight - Each rack only weighs approximately 12LBS empty. This is easily one of the lightest weight racks for its capacity and capability.
Compact and handy - These racks store flat using a special storage setting and are approximately 29” long, 3.6” tall, and 14.375” wide.
Weather Resistant - Made from Aluminum with stainless steel bolts, these racks have good weather resistance. No Rust here!
Strength - The bottom of each row is 1” thick aluminum extrusion supported by (4) 1/4-20 stainless steel bolts. This design can take a lot of force that would wear out the single 1/4-20 threaded rod used to support other designs.
