The Enthusiast W 18 shot mortar rack
The Enthusiast W is a W shape 18 shot fan rack for 1.75” 1.4g consumer firework shells. Mortar racks are a great addition to your firework shells to make lighting them even more enjoyable. Just plop the rack down on a hard, flat, level surface, load it up, and start lighting!
The rack frame is made from a squared off select grade 2×4 stud.
The side rails are 3/4” solid pine boards for added durability.
Racks are assembled with high quality GRK screws and Titebond III Ultimate waterproof wood glue for a rock solid hold.
All screw holes are pre drilled and countersunk.
Our mortars are 12” orange HDPE with 1.5” thick face grain solid pine plugs for good durability.
The angled racks are angled 15 degrees off vertical each for a total included angle of 30 degree. This allows for an intense display in the sky. This rack is best fired in an I V I V pattern or in a side to side sweeping pattern.
19” long, 19.75” wide (with feet and braces), 13.5” tall (with mortars inserted).
